Some information for you about my beginnings with Dalmatians in 1983. I had never been involved in any animal activity until my relocation from suburban Sydney to rural life on the outskirts of Sydney in 1982. I decided then to buy a dog and a dalmatian was my breed of choice. I bought one of the major Sydney weekend newspapers, looked up a few advertisements and chose one advertiser, whereupon i became the proud owner of a registered black spotted dalmatian puppy bitch.
After some time i thought perhaps 2 bitches would be better so I purchased another female, this time, the seller was a registered breeder who asked if I had ever thought about showing. I didnt even know such a thing existed however I decided I would like to try and a breeder/exhibitor and finally judge was born.
Over the ensuing years I bred many successful dalmatians, Grand Champion Karridgeway Hey Presto, Grand Champion Karridgeway Wild Peach, Champion Karridgeway Preshus, Ch Karridgeway Matilda, to name but a few.
Along the way my home bred Karridgeway dalmatians also had many a successful wins under Dalmatians Specialists from Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, USA, et al
